The Beam Magazine presents an Afsana ‘Rishty Kachy Dhagy’ by Aasia Majeed.
Aasia is a resident of Sadiqabad in the Punjab province. She started writing at the age of 16. She wrote motivational stories for children and Urdu articles for about three years in a local newspaper. Now she also writes poems, both in Urdu as well as English. She always tries to reflect social issues through her writings, specially issues related to women.
‘Rishty Kachy Dhagy’ is one of her short stories. In this story, she has tried to focus on an issue that creates marital discord, and is responsible for the increasing number of divorces in the country. The Beam Magazine, along with her, hope that you will like this story.
